PLAN C SMA 101

Join your fellow members of the outdoor and travel community to learn how to support yourself or others through self-managed abortions (SMA) with mailed abortion pills.

The Plan C SMA 101 Workshop, led by the incredible folks at Plan C Pills, is an interactive introductory workshop that goes over the basics of self-managed abortion and medication abortion as well as discusses the resources available to those who might be considering the process.

This event is co-hosted by Laura Borichevsky (sex educator and founder of Sex Outside) and Emily Scott (Registered Nurse and ethical traveler).

Event attendees receive access to exclusive "I'm SMA-Trained" gear, with all proceeds benefitting Plan C Pills, and will also be entered into a free raffle for outdoor products.

What you’ll learn from this workshop:

1) what abortion pills are and a general understanding of what mifepristone and misoprostol do;

2) how to find mailed abortion pill options in their state using the Plan C Guide to Pills;

3) resources to aid in making their decision-making and implementation processes, more informed; and

4) information on how to get more involved in advocating for increased access to mailed abortion pills through Plan C.

Who this workshop is for

This workshop is open to anyone and everyone interested in learning about this medically-safe and effective at-home abortion option and is geared toward individuals who want to be more informed for their own SMA experience as well as those who want to be more informed in supporting others with their SMA experience.
